About "Tree stump in the water"

About the artwork

A tree stump in the water, surrounded by duckweed and branches with leaves. Sunlight falls through the branches onto a tuft of moss, which lies on the branch like a soft blanket.

With this image, I chose to keep it natural rather than turn it into abstract art. I did apply some editing. These include softening the colour tone, adjusting the contrast, adding a sunburst for a dreamy image and highlighting.

Do you love nature and want to bring it into your living room? Then this is an image for you! It is a serene picture, which exudes tranquillity.

This picture was taken in the Nessebos in Rotterdam, around the corner from the Rotte river and the Zevenhuizerplas. I love walking in nature and combining this with photography. People often walk past beautiful pictures. They don't see it or think it's not special enough anymore. While even a ditch with duckweed and a certain light can offer a very interesting image. You just have to see it and take it in.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
