About ‘Trogir - Croatia’ by Dries van Assen

Trogir is a town and port at the end of Kaštela Bay, located 27 km from Split. The old core is situated on a small island between the mainland and the island of Ciovo.

Different periods of history have left their traces. Prehistoric remains, classical art, ancient Christian and old Croatian art are fused here, creating a harmony of forms and content. A city museum, it is the best-preserved Romanesque-Gothic complex in Central Europe. The medieval core is surrounded by walls, and includes a preserved castle with tower, and several residences and palaces. The church of St. Laurentius is the most pronounced work of the Romanesque-Gothic style in the country. The wider area around Trogir is characterized by its green vegetation, several islets, rocky and pebble beaches. Entertainment in Trogir includes lively fishermen's nights and folklore shows, as well as classical concerts in special settings around town. The city's historic center was inscribed on UNESCO's World Heritage List in 1997.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
