Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

About ‘Tropical calm by the sea’ by Walter G. Allgöwer

The coconut still lies like a small, silent planet in the first light of day, half-bathed by the breath of the Andaman Sea. The sand is cool and damp, a thin mirror reflecting the delicate glow of the sunrise as it slowly spreads across the island of Koh Chang. A hint of pink in the sky, a golden thread on the horizon, and above it all the quiet promise of a warm, expansive day in southern Thailand.
The waves come and go, as if to greet the coconut, to take it along for a while in their rhythmic conversation. Yet it remains, a calm centre amidst the movement, a symbol of tropical tranquillity and the simple joy of a morning by the sea. The scent of salt and damp wood mingles with the hint of warmth that will soon wash over the beach.
In this moment, the world seems to come together: the light, the water, the island, the silence. Everything is in balance, as if the day had decided to begin gently. Thailand, Asia – a place where even a coconut at dawn becomes a little story, carried by the light of the new day.
