A trullo (plural trulli) is a construction typical of the region between the southern Italian cities of Bari, Brindisi and Tarente in the Apulia region. Most trulli are in the village of Alberobello.
Characteristic for the trullo is the cone-shaped roof. In the construction of the limestone houses no cement is used (Wikipedia).
