Tug underway in the Europoort after a tow.
The tug in Europoort underway in the port of Rotterdam. The sun sets the dusk slowly falls over the harbor. The harbor is running at full speed. The ship in the background is being unloaded. The crew is busy with their work. The tugboat on its way to the next ship. Or is it getting its deserved rest.
The hustle and bustle of the port of Rotterdam is shown to its best advantage in this photograph. The ever changing landscape at night and dawn winter and summer. For me to always go to the harbor with a camera. And to discover the ships and sometimes a conversation with the people of the port.
Raw and the port as it is the people who work there. The images I see there I like to photograph because it is art in itself. The harbor is a different world. The landscape of the harbor is always changing. The ships, the people and the landscape continue to fascinate me.
