I discovered this wonderful natural landscape with traces of seagull feet and human footprints in the early evening hours of 25 June 2011 in the hilly sand dunes of the Baltic Sea resort of Warnemünde.
The photographic landscape motif was exposed with the NIKON D90 camera (lens: NIKKOR 80.0-200.0 mm f/2.8).
I then created the turquoise-blue toning in Photoshop.
The radiant blue-turquoise toning gives the image motif a fresh, lively and powerful summer mood and an anticipation of the hot, colourful and joyful summer moments.
Turquoise, a colour shade between green and blue, is associated with various positive qualities and meanings. It symbolises protection, strength, harmony, relaxation and also humour, honesty and balance.
Turquoise has a particularly calming and healing effect. It combines the positive properties of blue and green and creates a harmonious balance. This colour conveys a feeling of security and balance.
TURQUoise is the colour of lagoons, bright skies, palm trees and the sea. In short: turquoise is often associated with holidays. A time of maximum relaxation, when we can escape from the stresses of everyday life and switch off. The colour turquoise is a transitional colour from blue to green and is often also referred to as cyan, aquamarine or blue-green.
