About ‘Twins’ by Maurice Geelen photography
These two ancient olive trees stand in the garden of the house belonging to the Impressionist painter Renoir. He lived for many years in Cagnes, in the south of France. The olive grove features in many of his paintings and is incredibly photogenic. This work captures the dreamlike atmosphere of the garden.
