In Xian, you can visit no less than 3 halls to see the terracotta army, a collection of about 8,000 figures. These figures were given as a grave gift to China's first emperor.
We started in the smallest hall, number 3, and with that, each room became more impressive. Work is still going on to restore the statues that are still partly buried and you can watch this being done.
Above all, it is all the details applied to the figures that make it even more impressive. No figure is the same as another. It must have taken a huge amount of time to fabricate all this, especially in the time when this was made.
