The photograph shows an idyllic view along a narrow waterway in Ulm’s historic fishing quarter. Picturesque half-timbered houses with red-tiled roofs line the banks of the River Blau, whilst a small stone bridge can be seen in the background. The lush greenery of trees, shrubs and flower-bedecked balconies lends the scene a lively, nature-filled atmosphere. The surrounding buildings and the gentle cloud cover of the blue sky are reflected in the calm water, illuminated by the sun’s rays.
