About the artwork

The picture shows a rainy street in a fictitious city in a fictitious country – actually everything would be grey and wet and dull and colourless, but we are far from dreariness. Despite the rain, the scene is full of vibrant colours. People hurry under colourful umbrellas, wearing clothes in shades of red, yellow and blue that look like little splashes of colour on the street. Their colourful clothing brings life and energy to the street atmosphere. The umbrellas glow in bright colours and cast subtle reflections on the wet cobblestones. The puddles on the ground reflect the light and enhance the colours.

The trees along the street are not mere silhouettes – their leaves shimmer in bright colours, reflected in the rain-drenched puddles, leaving no room for grey. Each reflection seems to be suffused with an invisible light, reflecting the hidden colour world of the city. The colours seem to banish the melancholy of the rain, as if the city is waiting to be discovered and admired. It is as if the colours are dancing in the rain and telling their own story – you just have to want to see it to discover our colourful world in real life too.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
