The John Frost Bridge, popularly known as the Old Bridge, is a road bridge in Arnhem-Centre across the Lower Rhine River. In World War II, the bridge played an important main role because of the Allied troops' airborne landing and battle in September 1944, as part of Operation Market Garden. The bridge has become a place of pilgrimage for veterans, relatives and others interested in the Battle of Arnhem.
