Photo of the IJssel near Zutphen. Printed on glossy paper and worked on. Usually some of the image remains, but not in this case. I keep working on a photo until I am satisfied with it. The processing consists of acrylic paint, chalk, charcoal etc. The acrylic paint serves as a background, because it is difficult to draw on a shiny photo. The parts of the photo that I want to keep I always clean. In this case there was nothing left.
Inspired by lines and structures in the landscape I make my abstract drawings and photographs.
Starting with sculpting and drawing I became more and more fascinated by photography.
