Once it cost 9,025 Marks with 23 windows, two-tone paint, many chrome ornaments, 8 seats, tube radio and large folding sunroof, about 100,000 copies were built. Today, good examples cost around 100,000 euros and the most expensive Samba/Microbus Deluxe ever sold at auction was sold to a bidder at the Barrett-Jackson auction house in 2017 for $302,500.
