Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.

About ‘Venice - Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute’ by Thomas Bugdoll

Santa Maria della Salute is one of Venice's most famous landmarks, known simply as the Salute by locals. Located at the junction of the Grand Canal and the Bacino di San Marco, it is visible from the water as you enter Piazza San Marco. The building is octagonal in shape and is a massive structure with projecting domes and volutes. It sits on a wide platform with 100,000 wooden piles and is filled with Mary symbolism inside. The large dome represents her crown, the cavernous interior her body and the eight sides the eight points represent the symbolic star of the mother of Jesus.
The basilica is made mostly of limestone quarried in Istria and a brick covered with marble dust known as marmorino, and although classically designed, it contains some Byzantine elements. The high altar, also designed by Longhena, is in the Baroque style, and the Flemish sculptor Josse de Corte designed a group of statues for the high altar that read: "The Queen of Heaven driving out the plague".
