The Victorian Pier in Clevedon features in many books and films. This is for good reason, as it is a photogenic structure. You can almost see the ladies with parasols, dashing dresses and pretty hats strolling across it. The Pier was opened in 1969 and is beautifully preserved. At high tide, the poles in the water are sometimes not even visible, at low tide you can see them clearly. At the end of the pier, you have a nice view of the coast.
