On a beautiful evening in September, the sun was setting and the last rays of the sun fell on the city and the clouds during the golden hour. In the mere minutes that this moment lasted just before sunset, I just had the opportunity to take this photo. The image is dominated by the Deventer tower of the Grote or Lebuinuskerk, a Gothic hall church on the Grote Kerkhof in Deventer. It is a prominent building in the Hanseatic city of Deventer. A handsome example of medieval architecture. You recognize the skyline of Deventer immediately by this tower. Furthermore, you see the river IJssel and the quay.
