Malaga's Gibralfaro, a 130-metre-high hill located on the outskirts of Malaga, short of the coast. The hill is an offshoot of the Montes de Malaga, the mountains of Malaga. Walking along the beautiful path built from the city to the top of the Gibralfaro, are several beautiful viewpoints that give wonderful images of the city of Malaga, its seaport, the unique historical buildings, the infrastructure interspersed with tropical greenery. Southern Spain is usually portrayed with full sun and clear blue skies, but around winter with cloud-covered skies, a shower on the way, trees and shrubs in winter's attire also gives this beautiful city a fantastic image to dream away in, it's nice walking without the often scorching heat of the summer sun. The architecture in this region of Spain is clearly influenced by Moorish architecture, from the African continent. The typical window arches, frames, decorations, on older buildings you will find them everywhere. Malaga is used by many people as the arrival gate to their holiday destination, but the city really deserves to invest a few days there too and look around at what it offers, listen to the music that fills the streets here and there, the Mediterranean scents coming out of open doors, the historical life that has been lived in the city and its buildings, look for it and you will find the answers that then colour the picture, with which memories are collected.
