About "View of the Ouwe Wester in Amsterdam"

About the artwork

There is a great view of the Westertoren from Bloemstraat in the heart of Amsterdam's Jordaan neighbourhood. The photo was taken on a bright blue day. In the foreground is a typical Amsterdam bench in front of the door of a residential house. The light shines between the slots of the bench on the wall and casts a nice shadow effect. The interplay of lines starting in the foreground brings the eye naturally to the famous Wester. This work will not easily get boring on the wall!

About the image maker: as a born and bred Amsterdammer, Peter feels a close connection with the city of Amsterdam. Over the years, he has produced many works, not only of Amsterdam, but also other cities at home and abroad fill his portfolio. Landscape and macro photography are also part of his work. As a digital artist, he has also earned his spurs, especially with adaptations of old masters. Peters' work is widely sold and hangs on walls in various European countries.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
