The Haringvliet on the east side of the centre of the Dutch city of Rotterdam (province of Zuid-Holland) is an inland port dating from the 1590s. At the end of it is the 43 meter high White House from 1898. In the meantime, a much higher new building took place, which determines the skyline of Rotterdam.
