With handmade traps and gaily painted pirogues, fishermen in Senegal catch lobsters in the Atlantic Ocean. Fishing in West Africa is so incredibly photogenic, I could spend all day photographing fishermen, their colorful praus and fishing attributes. Funny detail of course the red white blue painted wood. Not infrequently, I then enjoy the day's catch at an impromptu barbecue on the beach or in an unsightly local seafood restaurant.
