Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.

About ‘Vincent van Gogh by John Peter Russell - 1886’

John Peter Russell (Darlinghurst, Sydney, 16 June 1858 - Sydney, 22 April 1930) was an Australian impressionist painter. He was greatly appreciated by his fellow artists such as Vincent van Gogh, Claude Monet and Henri Matisse, whom he inspired. Russell never achieved worldwide recognition and is therefore called the "lost impressionist". This may be due to the fact that Russell did not exhibit his work to the public. Russell was very rich, with his art he did not need to earn a living.
