Violets in the Rain - a single white and purple violet covered in raindrops. The single delicatre flower sits on top its dark green leaves. It takes the stage in this macro photograph. The raindrops decorating it like jewlry.
For this macro floral I had to get dirty. The tiny white and purple violet grown low to the ground. I have no choice to go down to its level. But all worth wile the effort, don't you think? We keep a natural garden not treated with any chemicals. In return wildflowers and beneficial insects come around during the warm weather seasons. There are days I come across a plant I can only wonder how it got there. The birds or squirrels are most likely my secret gardeners. Just like my neighbor ended up with a gourd one year and never planted them.
So here it is to your delight a delicate white and purple violet covered with a fresh coat of Spring rain. The view is at Birds eye just above the flower. It's leave bending down from the weight of the water droplets. The lighting is even since the day is still quite overcast.
Violets are sweet, beautiful and edible. The meaning of violets is regality, leadership, strength, and grace.
Thank you for visiting and purchasing my art.
