With 188 cm loading length and 136 width you can easily spend 1-2 nights for two for a weekend trip. Because of this high popularity the 245 estate car became more and more a lifestyle station wagon and due to high demand it was built 10 years longer than all other Volvo 240 models. This resulted in a number of 959,151 station wagons.
