About the artwork

The painting, created through the careful application of the glazing technique in oil painting, draws the viewer into a fascinating world. The oil paints applied layer by layer create a depth and vividness that captures the viewer's eye.

The main motif of the painting is a majestic ship with an elongated bow illuminated by yellow rays from the sky. Inspired by an exhibition on Tutankhamun in Berlin, the painting does not show an exact replica, however, but interprets the ship in its own way. The sails of the ship and the dimensions are idiosyncratically designed and lend the painting a special grace.

The ends of the sails, the bow and the stern reach up into the sky and create an impressive dialogue between the earthly and the supernatural world. The rocky stones on the shore serve as a clear contrast and remind the viewer of the material sphere to which we belong.

The canvas is firmly stretched on a stretcher frame and shows the details in a size of 30x30 cm. The hanging technique on the back of the work is carefully applied and allows for easy display.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
