About "Waiting their turn together"

About the artwork

Five ladies, all in beautiful long skirts. The ladies are clearly from another world. Really, they don't look very friendly. They look a bit tense. On the ground is a very large top hat, with an eye on the front. The hat is decorated with a pretty bow. That bow sets me off, because there is nothing friendly about the hat. The ladies are being used by someone who makes the hat take on a life of its own. A life like a magician, such'one who makes people disappear. Yes he also wants to make these ladies disappear from another world. Disappear to where nobody knows, that is the problem. And that is also why the ladies are so tense, because a journey with an unknown destination is not normal even in this strange, colourful world. The smoky, mystical environment with the no longer really fresh Hydrangea on the ground, is by no means soothing on the contrary, especially if you are waiting for your turn to go on this unknown journey. The colours used in this surrealist work are orange, yellow, purple, grey, green and cream.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
