The Speulderbos is located in the middle of the Veluwe and is one of the most beautiful forests in the Netherlands. It is also sometimes called the forest with the dancing trees. This is because people who lived in this area cut down only the straight trees and left the crooked trees. Crooked trees, of course, are not useful to build houses from. Hence, to this day, we can still enjoy that beautiful forest with mysterious trees and paths.
