Tips for use
  • Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
  • Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
  • Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
  • The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
  • Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

Beta feature. You need an AR-capable device (a recent iPhone/iPad or Android). The AR view is only an indication; colour, size and finish may differ in reality.

About ‘Warbird: Republic P-47D Thunderbolt "Nellie".’ by Jaap van den Berg

A beautiful warbird: the Republic P-47D Thunderbolt "Nellie" (549192).

The Republic P-47 Thunderbolt is a single-engine fighter aircraft that was used extensively by the USAAF during World War II. The aircraft proved to be a formidable opponent during air combat, but also proved very useful to attack ground targets.

Jaap van den Berg

I am Jaap van den Berg and photography has become a great passion of mine since 2010. Since then I travel all over the world to take pictures of military aircrafts. But besides aircraft I also love to photograph other subjects like landscapes, architecture, flowers, animals, ships and cranes. Evening photography and macro photography are also something I enjoy doing.
