About "Water swing"

About the artwork

The painting of the Ferris wheel, with two-thirds of the wheel protruding into the surface of the water, is an idiosyncratic representation that raises many thoughts and questions. It invites the viewer to reflect on the meaning of change, adventure and leaving the comfort zone.

The people on the swings of the Ferris wheel, presumably enjoying themselves, represent the human urge for new experiences and challenges. The fact that two thirds of the wheel is underwater and we only see the top third creates a sense of uncertainty and the unexplored. It is as if people are embarking on a journey into an unknown world, a world they do not yet fully understand.

The depiction of the Ferris wheel rising out of the water could also be interpreted as a metaphor for diving into new phases of life or leaving the reality we are used to. It reminds us that life often brings changes and surprises, and that these changes can be an opportunity for personal growth and discovery.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
