Watercourse forest Marknesse in mysterious atmosphere. In the Waterloopbos you will find the scale models of some thirty large waterworks from all over the world. The Delta Works were designed here, but also the ports of Rotterdam, Lagos, IJmuiden, Istanbul and Bangkok. The Watercourse Research Laboratory carried out years of research in the Waterloopbos and recreated reality with water, dams, dams and wave machines.
This image is an adapted version. The original tube has been replaced by a waterfall.
One day it's flowers, the next day it's animals or a landscape, or just an object.
A little experimenting with colours, depth, my imagination and creativity suits me.
Creating a certain feeling, moment or atmosphere in a photo (end product) depends on my mood. If the mood is not there for a moment, there is no product.
My name is Marcel Kieffer and I'm a mood photographer. Once the mood is right and the subject is chosen, there will be visible inspiration and creativity in the end result.
I can spend days working on a photo (product), preparing it, making it and post-processing it, because I'm not easily satisfied.
In order to stand out from the crowd, you must not copy anyone's works or ideas and continue to follow your own path, in my case the path of the mood. That's why, in my opinion, my end products don't quickly resemble someone else's either.
With my pictures I at least want to draw you into a certain atmosphere. Going outdoors, into nature pleases me very much, but producing something at home also happens regularly. It all depends on where I am at that moment and on my mood! In order to remain versatile I try out different subjects and situations, this keeps me sharp and broad and it is instructive.
