This is the Þjófafoss (Thjofafoss) waterfall in Iceland. The name of the waterfall means: thieves' waterfall. That name came about because thieves used to be drowned in the waterfall. It is not a high waterfall and at the time I was there, there was also little water. But the overall picture really appeals to me. The beautiful clear blue water at the bottom of the waterfall and the mountain in the background (named Búrfell) makes for a nice picture for me.
