The Waterloopbos is a former site for hydraulic research near Marknesse in the Noordoostpolder, province of Flevoland. It was the testing ground of the Waterloopkundig Laboratorium De Voorst, a branch of the Waterloopkundig Laboratorium in Delft. The area is characterised by the remains and ruins of buildings from the laboratory. After it lost its function as a site for large-scale testing of dams and flood defences, a swamp forest developed there. The site, which is part of the approximately 1000 hectare Voorsterbos, has been owned by the Vereniging Natuurmonumenten since 2002 and has been included in the register of national monuments since 2016.
