The Waterloopbos is a former site for hydraulic research near Marknesse in the Noordoostpolder, province of Flevoland. It was the testing ground of the Waterloopkundig Laboratorium De Voorst, a branch of the Waterloopkundig Laboratorium in Delft. The area is characterised by the remains and ruins of buildings from the laboratory. After it lost its function as a site for large-scale testing of dams and flood defences, a swamp forest developed there. The site, which is part of the approximately 1000-hectare Voorsterbos, has been owned by the Vereniging Natuurmonumenten since 2002 and was included in the register of national monuments from 2016.
