When I got to the beach, it was ebbing tide. This left a lot of shells on the beach.
I took this picture from as low a vantage point as possible, so it looks like the wave is coming straight at you.
This shows the splashing water of the wave beautifully. In addition, the wave is reflected on the wet sand, on which there is still a thin layer of water.
The shells in the foreground, lying in the still wet sand, give small accents in the quiet image.
The colors in the photo are so calm and soothing that this photo will be a nice quiet eye-catcher.
