About ‘Wave breakers on Ameland beach’ by Bo Scheeringa Photography
A row of pile heads on the North Sea beach of the Dutch Wadden Sea island of Ameland off Hollum. They are breakwaters to prevent beach erosion. The piles are a favourite subject for many to photograph. It is an overcast day with lots of wind.
