About ‘Waves on the rocks’ by Eddy Smets

The photo shows a breathtaking view from a cliff over a rugged rocky beach, increasingly engulfed by the rising waves. The moment is captured perfectly, with the power of nature on display in all its beauty. The waves break with a violence that hugs the rocks on the shoreline, while the water spreads over the stones with a white frothy pattern.

The cliff's perspective gives the photo depth and power. The vast space between the photographer and the beach enhances the impression of untamed nature. The waves seem endless, constantly advancing towards the shore, while the rocks, hard and unyielding, stand firm against the ocean. The colours of the water range from deep blue to bright green, while the rocks in earth tones and shades of grey give the photo a rough, almost impenetrable look.

The stillness of the moment becomes almost palpable, a moment of serene power captured in time. The image evokes a sense of the uncontrollable but at the same time impressive power of the sea, which keeps entering the rocks but can never swallow them completely. What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
