As a microscope technician, I have completely modified one of my microscopes to do Creative Microscopy. Here, I look for nice cut-outs within a specimen, and fill it in further with light colours, shadows, and many other optical possibilities. The photos are NOT post-processed and thus come straight from the microscope, so a speck, dust, drop is part of the composition.
