What do you see at work?
This image shows a field full of ripe ears of wheat dancing in the wind. The fine, golden blades catch the sunlight and create an almost magical play of light and shadow. Look closely, and you can see that some ears of wheat are slightly bent, as if showing reverence to nature.
What was your inspiration for this work?
This image was born out of admiration for the simplicity and purity of the countryside. The endless fields of Provence, where nature and the seasons play the leading role, are a timeless subject of inspiration. The sun-drenched wheat symbolises abundance and connection with the earth.
What mood are you trying to set?
A warm, nostalgic atmosphere. The golden tones and soft details evoke the feeling of a summer day in Provence, where you can almost hear the crunch of dry stalks under your feet.
Describe the emotion or message you want to convey with this work.
This work breathes tranquillity and earthiness. It reminds us how important it is to live in harmony with nature and appreciate the simple beauty around us.
Did you use a particular technique?
The focus is on a select number of ears of wheat, creating a beautiful bokeh effect in the background. This emphasises the softness and movement of the field.
