During a trip through Portugal, I was walking along a quiet forest path. No signs, no tourists. Just trees, water, and silence. Then I heard the gentle sound of running water. I looked through the branches and saw this small waterfall. It felt like I had found something that few people ever see. I knew I had to capture it.
The photo shows a low waterfall surrounded by forest. The water flows gently over the rocks, and there’s a lot of green all around. Branches cross in front of the image, making it feel like you’re standing right there in the middle of the woods. If you look closely, you’ll see how the light falls on the water and how the leaves seem to glow a little. These are the small things that make this image special.
To me, this photo brings peace. It’s like pressing pause on a busy day. A moment to breathe. I used natural light and no filters — just the way it really looked. That’s why it means something to me.
This piece fits perfectly in a home where nature has a place. Or for people who simply want something calming on their wall.
