Photographing the Roman Forum at night was a magical experience. The contrast between the dark sky and the white lighting of the ruins was breathtaking. The columns stood out so beautifully, truly the symbol of ancient Roman splendour. The HDR effect allowed all the details of the stones and texture of the ruins to be clearly visible, even in the dark. It was as if history was still alive there. What I really liked was the soft glow of the ground lighting that made the atmosphere extra special. It felt serene and powerful at the same time, as if you were standing in the middle of ancient Rome. The drama of the light, the shadows hiding in the corners and the quiet stillness of the night gave the photo something timeless. Moments like these are what make travel so special to me. The Roman Forum is definitely one of the most impressive places I have seen, and I am glad I was able to capture it with my camera.
