About the artwork

On Corsica's southern coast you will find the small town of Bonifacio with its high citadel and surrounding city wall. The citadel was built in A.D. 828. Slightly lower is the rest of the town and a harbour where you can also take the ferry to Sardinia. Next to the town you will find a beautiful coastal path where you walk over the white cliffs.

Because Corsica is relatively close to Italy, the island is strategically valuable and served as a buffer against outside attacks. Count Bonifacio built this large citadel on top of a cliff overlooking both Corsica and the sea. Thanks to the citadel, it would be possible to defend the entire southern coast of Corsica.

From the nearby white cliffs, you have a beautiful view of the coast and the citadel of Bonifacio.

We ended our holiday in Corsica in Bonifacio. Slowly we walked closer and closer to the citadel and then up through the historic city gate. Inside the city wall, you'll find a maze of small streets and for a good bite to eat, the best place to go is one of the many restaurants in the port. A perfect last day in Corsica.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
