Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.

This work is part of my *Wild* series, a collection of animal portraits that focus on character, emotion and the beauty of nature. Birds of prey fascinate me with their combination of strength, focus and elegance. In this portrait, I wanted to capture not only the animal itself, but above all the presence and intensity you feel when a bird of prey looks at you. With great attention to detail, the feathers, colours and play of light have been carefully constructed. The combination of realism and artistic interpretation creates a powerful image that continues to captivate, even when viewed for longer.

Nature, animals and expressive gazes form the basis of my work. My illustrations combine realism with my own distinctive use of colour, bringing a sense of calm, wonder and personality to a space. Much of my work forms part of the ‘Wild’ series, a collection of animal portraits in which character and narrative take centre stage. I also create commissioned illustrations for private individuals, authors and organisations.
