With long time photo of the Lines of Arnhem Central Station.
Arnhem Central Station is the central station of the city of Arnhem, the capital of the Dutch province of Gelderland. The station is an important junction in the eastern part of the Netherlands and in railway traffic with Düsseldorf (D), Utrecht, Zwolle, Nijmegen, Tiel and the Achterhoek region. It is also a transfer point for urban and regional transport in the middle of Gelderland. The present station building is the fourth station in that location. This building, designed by Ben van Berkel, was completed in 2015. Arnhem Centraal was the 14th largest station in the Netherlands in passenger numbers in 2016, with approximately 40,000 embarking and disembarking NS trains per day (not counting passengers of other rail carriers).
