Frida, the famous artist from Mexico, is by far the best-known painter in Mexico, if not Latin America. She painted many dozens of self-portraits of herself. The bright colours of her clothes and the flowers she wore in her hair are striking. Frida had a serious traffic accident at a young age and died in her mid-40s. The colourful painting shows her in an expressive way.
I made the background first, using my secret technique. Then I painted the motif in detail over it and integrated it into the background. A very lively picture, although the main figure, Frida, is standing calmly. The colour scheme does justice to the artist Frida, as she herself painted her pictures in many colours and loved flowers. A unique portrait that emphasises Frida's soul.
The special thing about this portrait is the fusion or connection of the background with the motif. This gives the picture a dynamic and unique character. The whole series is conceived in this way. The woman in this painting is part of the series: Special women.
