About ‘Woman in mexico’ by Franka Poulain

This vibrant pen-and-ink artwork exudes a cheerful Mexican and South American vibe. At the centre is a stylised woman with expressive, large eyes and a wide smile. She wears striking, round earrings reminiscent of traditional Mexican motifs.

The background is a celebration of cultural elements. Green cacti of various shapes and sizes surround the woman, their stylised silhouettes a nod to Mexico's desert landscapes. Between the cacti, elements of historic Mexican and Inca architecture can be seen: step pyramids, geometric patterns and sun symbols.

The lines are fluid and expressive, with great attention to decorative details. Spirals, zigzag patterns and floral motifs adorn both the woman's clothing and background elements.

Although it is a pen drawing, the work suggests vibrant colours through the use of different shading techniques and textures. The whole piece exudes an atmosphere of joy and cultural richness, a celebration of the vibrant traditions and aesthetics of Latin America.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
