Scottish Highland Cattle are an ancient breed of cattle, originally found only in Scotland and the Hebrides. Since targeted cattle breeding was practised in Great Britain, i.e. for about 200 years, this breed has existed in unchanged form and without cross-breeding of foreign blood. With its decorative horns, which can reach a span of 1.60 (and even more) and its exceptionally long hair, it captivates every observer. With its long coat, it is absolutely winter-proof . Rain and wind cannot penetrate the natural fur, even snow remains on the insulated coat.
