About ‘Young red squirrel in morning light’ by Tim Emmerzaal
A less common species in in the United States is the red squirrel. They can be seen, but are a lot shyer and harder to photograph than the grey squirrels.
I think this young squirrel (judging by the black parts in its fur) had not seen me and I was able to quietly take a few nice photos.
Photo taken in Rochester, Minnesota.
