About the artwork

Did you know:

With its long, curved claws, the squirrel can easily climb trees and jump from branch to branch. During a jump, it spreads its limbs, with the loose skin on its flanks helping the animal stay airborne. Its feathery tail serves as a rudder, which it uses to steer its jump. It can also swim well. Its long tail, elegant mode of locomotion and the tufts on its ears give it a high petting factor.

The squirrel is a diurnal animal, usually showing itself just after dawn. It is mainly active after sunrise and just before sunset. 'In winter, it only shows itself 'in the morning. The squirrel does not hibernate, but it does hibernate: on inclement days, it hides in its nest and on better days it 'll visit its winter stockpile, which it has built up in various places, in the morning.

Per litter, a female gives birth to one to eight young (an average of three). The young weigh ten to 15 grams at birth. Only the female takes care of the young. When disturbed, the female carries the young out of the nest. At seven to eight weeks, they move outside the nest for the first time, and at seven to ten weeks they are weaned. When the young are 10 to 16 weeks old, they are independent.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
