About "Zebras in Pollare"

About the artwork

The picture, rendered in black and white, shows an adult zebra with her foal in a fenced area. The two zebra's are in the centre and to the right of the image. The adult zebra stands with her head down, possibly grazing, while the little one stands just behind her and looks to the left.

They are a dynamic duo: the distinctive black and white stripe pattern stands out, creating a strong contrast against the background. The fur of both animals is clearly visible.

The surroundings are a mix of natural elements and human influence. In the foreground, there is a field of long, wild grass. Behind the zebra's we can see a wire mesh fence, probably to demarcate the enclosure. A wooden post can be seen, with one or more electric wires attached to it, emphasising the enclosed nature of the space. In the background, behind the fence, are trees and bushes with dark leaves. There are some light objects hanging in the branches, enhancing the contrast in the picture.

The lack of colour gives the photo a timeless and documentary feel, emphasising the shapes, textures and the play of light and shadow.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
