At 2962 metres above sea level, the Zugspitze is the highest peak in the Wetterstein mountain range and Germany's highest mountain. The Zugspitze massif lies to the south-west of Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

The Zugspitzplatt is an alpine karst plateau below the Zugspitz summit, which serves as Germany's highest ski area and hiking destination. At an altitude of between 2,000 and 2,650 metres, it offers snow-sure pistes in winter and an impressive view of the Alps. The area has been formed by weathering, karstification and the over-shaping of earlier ice ages and is home to a small chapel dedicated to the Visitation of the Virgin Mary. The Zugspitzplatt can be easily reached with the Bayerische Zugspitzbahn railway.

Garmisch-Partenkirchen consists of two towns that were united in 1935. From Garmisch, you can easily reach the Zugspitze using the railway operated by Bayerische Zugspitzbahn Bergbahn AG. We recommend a "round trip" with the Zugspitze cable car, the cog railway and the glacier railway. During the journey, you will always have an impressive view of the surrounding mountains and valleys.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
