About ‘Zuiderkerk Amsterdam The Netherlands Old’ by Hendrik-Jan Kornelis
The Zuiderkerk is the first church designed for Protestant worship in Amsterdam. The church was built near the Sint Antoniesbreestraat in the Lastage, a neighborhood that was annexed to the city at the end of the 16th century. Nowadays this is the Nieuwmarkt quarter. The church is at Zandstraat no. 17.
